Zoom Presentation: The First 100 Years: Local Schools 1830s - 1930s Online

From one-room schoolhouses to the first consolidation efforts, the early local schools were a far cry from today's organized and accredited education systems. In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, Museum Curator Serena Ard will discuss how Duneland's early schools formed, highlight some legendary teachers, and look at early rules for students and teachers that may be controversial by today's standards.
